Freddy Aerts

Freddy Lydia Julien Aerts, 67 years old passed at home in Valley Springs on March 28th 2021. Born in Borgerhout, Belgium on February 26th, 1954 to Joanna de Borger & Eduard Aerts, both deceased. A brother, a niece & 2 nephews still live in Belgium. His career was a police officer in Antwerp and he specialized in Special Victims. He co-authored a book on Domestic Violence in 2001. He loved all animals & they loved him back. He was an avid gardener & cook. He had a passion for the sea, fishing, scuba diving or walking along the shore. He was an avid gardener & cook. He loved to build models of WWII planes & tanks. He emigrated to the US in 2004 and married; he received his US citizenship on January 27th 2009. He lived in Sebastopol, Lakeport, Elk Grove & Valley Springs. He is survived by his wife, Martha Lantz of Valley Springs.
