Gregory David Myers
May 23, 1968 - May 13, 2025
Gregory David Myers, beloved son, brother, husband, father, uncle, cousin and nephew, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at the age of 56. While biking within the community and near his home in Copperopolis, California, Greg had a sudden and acute cardiac arrest.
Greg was born in Stuttgart, Germany, in 1968 when his father was stationed there with the U.S. Army. He spent most of his youth in Cupertino, California, and graduated from Monta Vista High School. He went on to earn a Health Science degree from San Jose State University.
Greg lived life with passion and joy. He was an avid mountain biker and motorcycle enthusiast, who found freedom and exhilaration on two wheels. He loved rock music, especially the band Rush, going to concerts, traveling, and exploring new places. Greg had a youthful spirit and cherished time with family—whether during holidays, family birthday celebrations and events, casual outings or backyard barbecues. He was health-conscious, enjoyed exercise and regularly going to the gym, and led an active lifestyle.
Greg was in a happy and fulfilling chapter of life, sharing a new home on the Copper Valley Golf Course with his wife, Paty. His days were full of purpose and the simple pleasures of a life well lived. He took great pride in his work as a Surgical Technician in the medical field, where his dedication and steady hands made a positive difference in the lives of others.
Greg is survived by his wife, Paty; his loving daughters of whom he was so proud, Paige, Taylor and Jenna; their mother and his former wife, Stacey; his parents, Dave and Karen; and his younger brothers, Jeff and Scott. Greg was a great guy and a loyal friend. He leaves behind a wide circle of friends and loved ones who will remember him for his bright smile, kind heart and generous spirit.
Greg was deeply loved, and will be profoundly missed.
