Manuel Richard Mossa Jr., a father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on April 6,
2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the age of 63.
Born in Norwalk, California, Manuel grew up in Southern California and spent much of his life
in Tulare and Valley Springs, where he raised his four children before eventually settling in Las
Vegas. A lifelong truck driver, he mastered a wide range of rigs and took pride in the road he
traveled.
Manuel had a deep love for the outdoors and cherished every moment spent fishing, camping,
and boating. A die-hard San Francisco 49ers fan, he never missed a game and always brought the
heat—both in his cooking and his larger-than-life personality.
He is preceded in death by his parents Manuel Sr & Virginia, his wife Laura, and his daughter
Karmen. He is survived by his children, Manny (Lehua), Craig (Lacey), and Taylor; his
grandchildren, Logan, Billy, Jacob, Ethan, Paisley, Everly, Maverick, and Rhett; and his siblings,
Sandy, Mark, Linda, Gary, Sharon, and Karen. He will also be deeply missed by his many nieces,
nephews, cousins, and countless friends who knew and loved him.
Manuel’s memory lives on in the stories we tell, the laughter he sparked, and the love he gave so
freely.
Manuel's arrangements were completed in Las Vegas, Nevada, and he will be laid to rest in Calaveras County.
